Our Mission

Pursue began with a simple vision in 2007 of spreading the message of missions and God’s heart for the world throughout the area of West Texas. What started out as a once a year conference quickly grew into other areas of training, mobilization, and sending.  Pursue has grown from an event to a movement and now serves as an umbrella 501(c)(3) organization for 7 missionary families and connects with nearly 40 partners.

Train.

Our first priority is to train the local body of Christ about God’s great vision for this world.  We are passionate about teaching, preaching, and training believers about their call in God’s great mission. This takes place through church services, small groups, discipling, and internships.

Mobilize.

We mobilize over 100 short-term missionaries each year to GO, both here and abroad. We believe short-term missions genuinely focused on the needs of the local area and guided by on-the-ground missionaries or national pastors make a major impact in both nations where we serve and in the hearts of those who go

Send.

We also serve as a sending agency for missionaries launched out of Church on the Rock in Lubbock. We are committed to supporting our missionaries to the best of our abilities by walking them through a holistic preparation process, giving them a personal care team, as well as office support to oversee finances and logistics.
